3. Cookie Consent
When you first visit our website, you will be shown a cookie consent banner. This banner explains the categories of cookies we use and invites you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choices are stored in the cookie_consent cookie.
- Strictly Necessary cookies are always active and do not require your consent.
- Analytics and Functional cookies require your explicit opt-in consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- You may change your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the website footer.
- Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Managing Cookies via Your Browser
In addition to our cookie consent tool, you can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies stored on your device and delete them individually or in bulk.
- Block all cookies, or block cookies from specific websites.
- Set preferences to be notified when a cookie is placed.
Note: Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.
Browser-specific guidance:
5. Cookies and Tracking in the Mobile Application
The mobile Application uses local storage rather than traditional browser cookies for session management and preferences. However, the Application may send anonymised analytics events to Google Analytics via the Firebase SDK (or Google Analytics for Firebase), subject to your consent given within the Application.
You can manage analytics tracking preferences within the Application via Settings → Privacy → Analytics.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website and Application may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy or cookie practices of those sites. We recommend reviewing the cookie policies of any third-party sites you visit.
7. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" above. For material changes affecting consent (e.g. adding new cookie categories), we will re-display the cookie consent banner to obtain fresh consent.
