This Cookie Policy explains how Wedding Budget Planning (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website (weddingbudget.ing) and mobile Application. It forms part of our Privacy Policy and should be read alongside it.

• cookie_consent (weddingbudget.ing) — Remembers your cookie choices so we don’t ask again on every visit. Duration: 1 year.

Our marketing website does not require an account, so it sets no login or session cookies. Authentication and your in-app preferences are handled inside the mobile Application using local storage (see Section 5).

2.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use our website and Application. This information is used to compile reports and help us improve the Service.

These cookies are only placed after you have given your consent via our cookie banner.

We load Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. With your consent, it sets:

• _ga (Google LLC) — Registers a unique ID to generate statistical data on how you use the website. Duration: 2 years.
• ga[ID] (Google LLC) — Used by Google Analytics 4 to persist session state. Duration: 2 years.

What Google Analytics Collects

• Pages you visit and how long you spend on them.
• How you navigate between pages (entry/exit pages, referral source).
• Your approximate geographic location (country/city level, derived from IP address).
• Device type, operating system, and browser type.
• Events and interactions within the Application (e.g. features used, buttons clicked).

Data Processing Location

Data collected by Google Analytics may be processed by Google in the United States. This transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses between Google and our company. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Opting Out of Google Analytics

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking in the following ways:

1. Cookie Settings — Use our cookie consent tool (accessible via the “Cookie Settings” link in the website footer) to withdraw your analytics consent at any time.
2. Browser opt-out add-on — Install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.

2.3 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of these services may not function properly.

• notification_prefs — Stores your push notification preferences within the mobile Application. Duration: 1 year.

2.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies

At present, we do not run advertising campaigns and do not use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and obtain your consent before placing any such cookies.

3. Cookie Consent

When you first visit our website, you will be shown a cookie consent banner. This banner explains the categories of cookies we use and invites you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choices are stored in the `cookie_consent` cookie.

• Strictly Necessary cookies are always active and do not require your consent.

The mobile Application uses local storage rather than traditional browser cookies for session management and preferences. However, the Application may send anonymised analytics events to Google Analytics via the Firebase SDK (or Google Analytics for Firebase), subject to your consent given within the Application.

You can manage analytics tracking preferences within the Application via Settings → Privacy → Analytics.

Our website and Application may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy or cookie practices of those sites. We recommend reviewing the cookie policies of any third-party sites you visit.
